Zaragoza 2-4 Barcelona: Lionel Messi Makes Second Hat-Trick In Two Games
Lionel Messi scored his 6th La Liga goal in two games against Real Zaragoza this weekend, as he netted a second hat-trick in succession.
Lionel Messi got his first goal early in the game after a mistake from Diogo allowed Pedro Rodriguez to get hold of the ball and enter the danger zone. The young spaniard then crossed inside the box to Messi who made no mistake in heading the ball home for the opener.
Lionel Messi again showed some brilliant fancy footwork in the 65th minute when he stole the ball in the midfield before wonderfully skipping past two defenders. Messi kept advancing goalwards by teasing a third Zaragoza player, and with only the keeper to beat, Messi only had to drive the ball at the back of the net for his second goal of the night.
2-0 was the score line for Barcelona against Zaragoza at that moment.
In the 77th minute, Messi again inflicted pain in the heart of Zaragoza fans as he nicely made a curling shot from about 20-yards to triple Barcelona’s lead.
There was no way the Zaragoza keeper was going to stop such a strike, and Messi eventually showed why he was the best in the world.
Unfortunately, the hosts pulled two late goals back to reduce their deficit, but Lionel Messi earned an injury time penalty after a piece of outstanding efforts, and Zlatan Ibrahimovic converted from the spot.
The match finally ended 4-2 in favor of Barcelona who still hold the second place in La Liga standings behind Real Madrid on goal difference. As for Lionel Messi, his chances of finishing as this season’s top scorer in La Liga are getting bigger and bigger.

I guess he’s gotta win the topscorers trophy in La Liga or how many goals after is Higuain?
