Lionel Messi and the press

Lionel Messi recently spoke to Il Mattino, and as he was asked on the fate of his fellow Argentine and Napoli player Lavezzi – this is what he said.

“Napoli is a big club and they deserve to be involved in European competition.

“I really hope Napoli can reach Europe with Lavezzi, as he and his team-mates deserve it.

“Everyone knows that Naples treat Argentinean players well thanks to what Diego Maradona did. The people there are fantastic.”

Finally, Lionel Messi declared that someday, he could sign for the Italian team, Napoli.

“Nothing is impossible in football,” he affirmed.
