After a fine a end to the season at Chelsea, manager Guus Hiddink has taking possession again of his job as the coach of Russia, and knowing his abilities, it would be unecessary to imagine that Russia do not deserve the respect of other national teams.

Certainly, Russia are on the right way to achieve their goals, but there’s one player who might want to upset Hiddink’s side, so as to raise the confidence of Argentine fans in the Albicelestes. His name is none other than “Lionel Messi”.

After suffering a 6-1 defeat to Bolivia, and 2-0 loss to Ecuador recently, Messi cannot take it anymore. One may even say that the Barcelona playmaker hasn’t really been confortable in his new jersey these past few months, as Argentina’s chances of qualifying to next year’s World Cup have become smaller and smaller.

Although the match between Russia and Argentina isn’t a World Cup qualifying encounter, Lionel Messi will want to give his all to ensure that his side is back on track. Eventually, one could suggest that this game will be more of a serious worm-up than anyone could have expected it to be.
