It was not the perfect end for the Catalans as they were held 1-1 by the Mexican Champions Chivas de Guadalajara – after beating Los Angeles Galaxy and Seattle Sounders in the U.S

After a goaless half, it was Ramon Morales who first opened the scoring for the home side with a header in front of 61,000 fans. Pep Guardiola’s men then responded with an equalizer from Bojan.

Barcelona kept the pressure on their opponents in search of the winner, but a strong Mexican defence denied them a second goal.

Eventually, with no Lionel Messi on the scoring sheet, 1-1 the match ended – and the Barcelona manager isn’t upset with the result.
