Pep Guardiola delighted after Barcelona win 5-0 over Cultural Leonesa

The Barcelona manager Pep Guardiola has expressed his happiness regarding his side’s 5-0 win over Cultural Leonesa in the Copa del Rey yesterday evening.

According to Guardiola, the goals scored by Bojan Krkic, Pedro, Lionel Messi, and Xavi Hernandez helped the team relax for a while.

“I congratulate the team because this is the way forward. After the break we had a little more rhythm, speed and better movement of the ball. The goals helped us to relax a little,” Pep affirmed.

Speaking about Bojan who was the man of the match with two goals in his bag, the manager continued:

“I am very happy for him, especially for the first goal, because he is a player who can get in there, where he scored. He will do well and should continue his efforts.

“Not only for the goals, I want the most out of him because you need them. He is valued by the club and the team.”

Barcelona are now in the fifth stage of the competition, and they hope to be victorious again as they are the Copa del Rey’s defending champions.
