Lionel Messi Wins 2008 Spanish League Best Player and Best Forward Awards

Barcelona’s star Lionel Messi has won the 2008 Spanish League Best Player award following his superb display last season.

Lionel Messi also won the 2008 Spanish League Best Forward Award late on Monday, and he is expecting even more at the end of the year, as Messi is hoping to get the Ballon d’Or, as well as the Fifa Best Player of the Year Award.

Lionel Messi scored a record of 38 goals and made 18 assists last season, in only 51 games for Barcelona.
