Lionel Messi - The Next Ballon D'Or Winner
Lionel Messi was included in the list of the top 30 players ahead of the award, due to his contribution to his team’s success last season, as Barcelona took possession of the UEFA Champions League title, La Liga title, and the Copa Del Rey.
Cristiano Ronaldo, Steven Gerrard, Fernando Torres, Wayne Rooney, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Ryan Giggs and a host of other players were also nominated for the Ballon D’Or, but once Barcelona’s Lionel Messi has been included in the challenge, there is no doubt that he will come up as the winner in December.
Lionel Messi came third and twice in the voting for the Ballon d’Or in two consecutive years, and these moments were certainly useful to his career, helping him to be better and come up as the favorite to win the Ballon d’Or award this year.
