In the next 2 months, Bodega Valencin Bianci – a wine company – will be launching a new wine product using Lionel Messi’s name “Leo”. The company, which is located in Mendoza, near Messi’s home in Argentine, already made an agreement with Messi regarding his name for the wine brand.

According to Valencin Bianchi press release, Lionel Messi’s Foundation is also involves behind the product launch, since the advantage of the wine will be use to fund charitable activities.

“We are working with Leo Messi Foundation to continue their project for the education and infant health, as well as to build sports facilities as a key to fight against poverty and disease,” said the  representation.

“These fundamental aspects of the foundation which has worked tirelessly for the success of his mission since 2008, to help children at risk of illness, also helps the youth,” he added.

This will be a new activity of the foundation. Previously, they had offers scholarship in Barcelona for Argentine doctor with cancer and children disease specialties, paid for research in chagas disease, and helped to build sports facilities in Rosario.
