Lionel Messi Picture, BarcelonaLionel Messi has confirmed that he will not go to the Premier League now or in the future. The Barcelona winger has expressed his loyalty to the Catalan club by acknowledging all of their great deeds toward him.

Messi’s childhood was tarnished when he knew that he had been affected by growth hormone deficiency. As a player in Newell’s Old Boys in Argentina, Messi did not have the amount of money required to get treatment for his disease.

He was then sent to FC Barcelona, where he was accepted in the youth team, and received medical attendance. Messi is now fit, and he has publicized the fact that Barcelona is the club for which he would give a part of his life.

“When I was at Newell’s Old Boys my hormone condition meant I was never going to make it as a professional football player,” Lionel Messi told Telegraph.

“My father had to take three jobs, but the medical bills in Argentina are very expensive and we still couldn’t afford them, and no team at home was prepared to take a chance and pay the bills for us.

“Barcelona offered to pay them and moved me and my family to Spain, where I was healed. How could I ever leave a club who helped me in such a way, and why would I ever want to leave a club who play football like this?”

Messi presently has a contract with Barcelona which will keep him in the club until 2016. At the moment, the club prefers to focus on the well-being of their star.

Messi, ask that question to yourself. :P :P Cristiano Ronaldo fans don’t have time to answer it. Stay in Barca if you want. But mind you, the club will certainly be different after the World Cup – especially if Argentina fails to win the trophy! hehehe :P :P
