The Argentine star Lionel Messi returned to FC Barcelona’s training camp a week before expected.
Despite, reports that Lionel Messi’s father, Jorge, confessed that his son was looking forward to a long holiday, Messi presented himself at Pep Guardiola’s training session a week before expected.
Lionel Messi was given until June 27 to end his holidays; however, the FC Barcelona winger thought that staying too long without playing a match was the unbearable. Messi’s last game was during his international duty for Argentina on June 30, against Ecuador; nevertheless, it is obvious that Leo has another game in mind, and he wouldn’t want to miss it.
FC Barcelona will be facing English side Tottenham from London, and Al Ahly from Egypt before flying to the United States from their pre-season tour; and as Pep will be travelling with some of his big stars along with players from the Barcelona B, Messi will want to get his name on the starting eleven.
Perhaps, this is the main reason why Messi didn’t stay on holidays too long… Well, anyway, as FC Barcelona and Messi fans, it is always a good thing to welcome the young ace back at the Camp Nou.
