Lionel Messi: Cesc Fabregas Will One Day Leave Arsenal For Barcelona
Lionel Messi has once again called on Cesc Fabregas to leave Arsenal and join Barcelona. According to Messi, the Arsenal skipper will only have the chance to win trophies if he comes back to his former club in Spain.
“Cesc Fabregas has a place for Arsenal in his heart, but he has Barcelona in his blood,” said Messi to the media.
“He will want to win the biggest honors in football, and I expect him to do that at Barcelona. I don’t exactly know when that will be, but I expect him to be my Barcelona team-mate again in the future.”
Messi and Fabregas became friends when they were in the Barcelona youth side, but the Spaniard then signed for Arsenal in 2003, where he changed into a Premier League icon.
