Lionel Messi: Cesc Fabregas Of Arsenal Is An Expert In Passes
Lionel Messi has praised his former Barcelona team mate Cesc Fabregas, saying that the Spaniard was a great passer. Fabregas and Messi were both in the youth team of Barca some years ago.
“When we were in the Barcelona youth team, Cesc Fabregas could spot a pass on the pitch no-one else could,” said Messi while speaking to BBC Sport.
“He’s still like that, his killer passes can split any defense.”
Lionel Messi scored 4 goals past Arsenal in the quarterfinals of the Champions League to reach the semifinals, where he face Inter Milan.
