Argentina and Barcelona’s wonder kid Lionel Messi managed to surpass Real Madrid’s Brazilian player Kaka, in a voting which took place among Brazilians ahead of their World Cup Qualifying match against Argentina on September 5.

According to Lancenet!, who provided Brazilian football lovers with a list of players likely to start the match, 55.6% of voters chose Messi over Kaka, as they believed that Argentina’s number 10 playmaker would be better than the new Real Madrid signing.
