Real Madrid have certainly made one of this summer’s greatest signing, as they were able to transfer the Brazilian player Kaka from AC Milan, into their club.

Florentino Perez’s decision of bringing Kaka at the Bernabeu might have forced his side to spend a lot of money; however, it was the desire of being successful next season that made him do it. Such determination shows how much Real want to bounce back from their poor form last season; and in fact, it isn’t only a positive sign for Madrid fans, but also is it a new threat for Barcelona.

Something new?

FC Barcelona are the reigning Spanish Champions, and their treble last season proves how strong they have been under their new coach Pep Guardiola. Both Barcelona and Real Madrid have been fighting for glory; however, the last time they met at the Bernabeu Stadium, the score was 6-2 in favor of the Catalans.

It could be different next season though, and with the likes of the former Fifa player of the Year Kaka, Los Blancos supporters could see their team triumph for the third time against their rivals in the last five meetings.

Attacking football – the right strategy

To cut a long story short, it is not the next series of El Clasico that really counts at the moment, for one or two matches may not possibly decide the league title; what seems to matter the most is the quality and the strategy each team will apply throughout the season to get positive results.

At the present time, everybody knows that attacking football is Barcelona’s usual weapon in matches. Fortunately for them, this tactic proved to be very effective last season, and on several occasions, their floods of goals were their main solution to the demolishing of big teams in Europe. Having witnessed the efficiency of his plan, the Barcelona manager Pep Guardiola will be poised to start his new season with the same strategy, however this time, things might be a lot more difficult for his club, as Real also show interest in his method.

The Madrid club are currently using this transfer window period to prepare a stronger front for next season, and so far, the signing of Kaka is enough to make their fans expect some new in the coming months.

Real haven’t confirmed the number of their new player yet; nonetheless, fans can look forward to their star playing his usual role as a second striker, or an attacking midfielder.

Kaka is very famous for his pace, and strength in attack; and looking at his skills, there isn’t much doubt that he has achieved a lot. During his days at Milan, the former Fifa Player of the Year has won the UEFA Champions League, the Fifa World Cup Club, and the European Super Cup among several other individual awards.

The former Ballon d’Or winner stated many times that his career meant a lot to him, and that he was ready to give his all to keep progressing. Thus, it is clear that Kaka didn’t go to Real Madrid only because of the sum of money that was offered to him – in reality Kaka left his Milan team also because he felt that he could help Madrid in reorganizing their club.

Eventually, it is likely that Real will want to use Kaka as their source of attacking football… but the question is: “Will they succeed?”

This is uncertain, yet one could think that if Barcelona were able to bounce back from a disappointing form trough the new style of their new manager Guardiola, then Madrid would be able to do the same trough the new style which will be inflicted by their new playmaker Kaka.

Yes, this make sense; but then again, all this will depend on the form of Ricardo himself. A constant good display from him might be very useful to each and every Real Madrid player, but a disappointing form might cause another problem to the whole club, as the effects of such dissatisfaction could be psychological, as well as economical.

Well, regardless of what could happen, Barcelona still need to pay a lot of attention to their rivals and find a solution to escape the danger that is facing them next season. Of course, Barcelona too could also come up with the idea of signing new players, but presently, it looks like the Catalan president is aware that money alone cannot solve a big issue…

Finally, we can only be patient to watch how both clubs will react when the new season kicks off. Will their summer decision help them, or not?

Let’s wait and see…

  1. Ha ha ha, i think Real Madrid is the best team in the world now. They have signed the 3 best players of the world, Ronaldo, Kaka and Benzima. I think the only threat to Real Madrid is from Manchester as they have Giggs and P.Scoles in their team. Real should be careful about it.

I think Real should worry more because the money they invested on Ronaldo is just so huge.

First of all, sorry about my english. The method of Guardiola or Barcelona is completely different of the method of Madrid. If you look the Barcelona starters, you see 7 of 11 players that born on the Barcelona Academy (La Masia). On the Madrid starters there 3 or 4 of 11 players former on the young teams of R.Madrid. This is the real difference. Barça has a diferent philosophy of football. The only club with similar philosophy is the Arsenal of the Premier League.
In ocasions isn’t true but in the major of times this young players from Academy bleed the shirt more & more than foreign players, also professionals but not in the same way.
    Nice website!!!
