Argentina are set to play against Russia for a friendly match later today, and Barcelona have sent one of their coaches to make sure that Lionel Messi will return in perfect shape.

Juanjo Brau, the coach who accompanied Messi to Russia, has been working with Messi for over a year now, and the Argentine FA is happy that he joined them for the game, as he has been attending several games of the Albiceleste.

Following statements from the managing board of FC Barcelona, coach Brau was sent along with Messi to ensure that Messi will not sustain any injuries during his international duty. Already, Lionel Messi returned from his holidays a week before expected, and the Catalans will not want their young player to be weak as the new La Liga season begins.

As Argentina will play Russians late in the day, Messi and coach Brau are set to spend the night in the country, before flying back to Spain.
