After coming back from his trip to South America for Argentina’s World Cup Qualifying fixtures, Lionel Messi was benched in the beginning stages of Barcelona’s game against Getafe at the weekend.

The winger then came on and after Zlatan Ibrahimovic had scored his side’s first goal, it was Messi’s turn to increase the tally. He did no mistake, and he nicely headed in the ball from an Ibra cross.

In the end, 2-0 the score ended… Barcelona are now at the top of the la liga table with a 100% record so far.
