Have you ever wonder how much goal Messi will score in the next 10 years of his football career ? With his perfect condition, no doubt Messi will be able to play at least until he is 35 years of age.

Let’s see …. So far, Messi already collects 252 goals in total of 327 performance with Barcelona in all competition. With his national team Argentina, Messi has collected 22 goals in 68 games. 

Of course, when it comes to goal collection, Pep Guardiola was the man behind his success in the last 4 years. During the Guardiola era, Messi has scored 210 goals alone in 216 matches. This season, Messi’s performance even considered phenomenal.

In the first year with Pep, Messi’s goal statistic only 0,75 goal per match, compare to this season 1,24 goal per match.

However, since Pep is now out of the picture, and replaced by Tito Vilanova, Messi’s goal is predicted to be stagnant of 50 goals per season. To sum up,  in the next 10 years, Messi could reach an extra 500 goals, (more or less) or 776 goals in total. If it happens, then Messi can finally surpasses Pele’s goal record.

Until now, Pele did have scored around 1000 goals in all his football career, but he only collected 760 max in an official matches.

Lionel Messi have lost his sharpness in Barcelona’s 3 earlier matches. But before the league’s ended, Messi got back on his feet, and scored an amazing 9 goals in the last 3 matches, adding to his goal collection to 72 goals in all competition.

It was happened so fast. Before, Messi only collected 63 goals after his failure in Chelsea’s home and away match, plus the El Clasico. His goal collection is predicted to be below 70 goals until the end of the season.

But suddenly, when the league competition has come to an end, with only 4 matches left to play, Messi returned to his old self. He scored 2 goals against Rayo Vallecano, scored a hattrick in Barcelona’s 4-1 victory over Malaga, and later his quattrick in Barcelona’s derby against Espanyol.

With the goals, Messi has overcome Gerd Mueller’s 67 goal record as the European striker with the most goal in a season. And it is still counting, since Messi has 1 more league match to play, plus one Copa del Rey final.

But in domestic league, Messi’s goal achievement is nothing compare to the number one list, Archie Stark, who collected 67 goals, Pele in Brazil league with 66 goals or Ferenc Deak in Hungarian League, also with 66 goals . But who knows, maybe next season Messi will score more goal, as he has been improving each year, and overcome their record.

Lionel Messi scored an amazing quattrick in Barcelona’s 4-0 victory over Espanyol last night. The match result is not going to give an impact on Barcelona’s record since Real Madrid already win the league competition, however, the goal can help Messi to reach the pichichi title for the season.

With the extra 4 goals, Messi now collects 50 goals in La liga, 72 goals in all competition this season. There will be no doubt that he will win the pichichi title since his rival Cristiano Ronaldo collects 5 goal less with only 1 match left.

Lionel Messi scored  a hattrick  in Barcelona’s 4-1 victory over Malaga yesterday. Although Barcelona failed to win the league title this season, following Real Madrid’s victory over Bilbao on the same night, Messi still aim for the pichichi title.

With the 3 goals, Messi lead in the topscorer with 46 goals, while Ronaldo comes second with total collection of 44 goals. The last 2 match will determine who’s going to crown the pichichi title this season.

Lionel Messi’s absence in Pep’s Guardiola’s press conference last Friday has created a new rumor that the striker was upset with the coach decision on leaving the club. But the rumor was later denied by captain Puyol , as he explained that  it was all just a misunderstanding.

According to Puyol , after the morning training session, the team were agreed that only 4 of the players will attend the conference. They were Puyol, Iniesta, Xavi Hernandez, and Victor Valdez. However, later on the other players came to the conference as well, without Messi knowing about it. The players that soon appeared were Fabregas, Gerard Pique, Busquets, and Rodriguez.

Although Messi already wrote on his Facebook Page earlier that he didn’t want his grief to be captured on the camera, Puyol still defended him, by saying that Messi and like all of the team showed their support to the coach 100%.

” Lionel Messi is really gratefull to the coach, just like all of the players. And when it’s time for a farewell, we will be there because we support him 100%,” explained Puyol.

Even though Barcelona have less than 10% to win the league title this season, they still showed their best performance in the last 4 matches left. Against Rayo Vallecano last night, Barcelona trashed the host Vallecano with a 7-0 victory. Messi scored 2 goals in the match, and has contributed 3 assists along the way. Clearly, he won’t give up until the last minute.

Now, Messi and Ronaldo each collects the same 43 goals, and both aims for the pichichi title. If Barcelona can’t win the league, at least Messi tried his best to win the Golden Shoe this season.

For Radomir Antic, Barcelona’s ex-coach, lately Lionel Messi has shown a different attitude on the match. He often shows a gloomy face, and that has affected his performance on the pitch.

“He get’s on argument with team-mates, and questioned referee’s decision. He changes a lot,” said Antic as quoted by Com Radio.

“You can’t deny his quality, but his mind in the last few months didn’t help his performance,” he added.

Antic also claimed that Messi’s got more frustrate after he failed the penalty shot against Chelsea, and it has influenced his appearance as well as the team afterwards. And as he became frustrate, he intent to not show any creativity on the pitch. Since he often plays as the central of Barcelona’s attack strategy, then the team’s lost is pretty much predictable .

Antic became Barcelona coach back in 2003.  He succeeded in bringing the team to the 6th rank at the end of the season, after flunked at 15th rank in Louis Van Gaal era.
