The defending European Champions FC Barcelona will host Ukrainian giants Dynamo Kiev, in their Champions League match tonight at the Camp Nou.

Barcelona drew their last group stage match 0-0 away to the San Siro against Inter Milan; whereas Dynamo Kiev came from a goal down to beat Russians Rubin Kazan 3-1. As a result, the Catalans only occupy the second place in their table with two points behind leaders Kiev.

It will be Lionel Messi’s chance to shine this evening and help his side collect 3 valuable points which could take them to the top of their group, depending on the consequences of the game between Inter Milan and Rubin Kazan.

So far, Messi hasn’t got any goal in the Champions League, but last year’s top scorer is likely to press on against Dynamo in search of the goal that would put him in the race of scorers, so as to defend the his title.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s form was greatly disappointing against his former club two weeks ago; nevertheless, considering his nice partnership with Messi in recent days, positivity in front of goal will probably be his reward.
