It was not a happy moment for the Argentines yesterday night as they suffered another defeat in their World Cup qualifying campaign.
Argentina lost to Ecuador by two goals to nil in a match where a win would have taken them 6 points ahead of Uruguay. Thus, having failed to get the three points, there are certain doubts that the argentines will stay in the top four of the table by the end of their campaign.

Lionel Messi wasn’t the center of attraction in the game, and in fact, it is true that his amazing style of play was missing. Surely, the Barcelona forward still needs some time to cope Diego Maradona’s strategies.
It’s not the end though, and one more victory for his side could improve his team’s chances of appearing in the South African World Cup, next summer.
