The Barcelona defender Dani Alves is relishing Brazil’s challenge of defeating Argentina in Rosario in their World Cup Qualifying match this weekend.

The Brazilian full-back plays along side Lionel Messi on Barcelona’s right wing; however, Alves declared that during the 90 minutes of Saturday’s game in Argentina, their friendship will have to be halted, as each player will want to defeat the other.

In an interview with Sports, this is what Dani Alves said:

“The most important thing is to win, and qualify for the World Cup, but against Argentina would be better. That would be wonderful to taste.

“Once the ball starts rolling, there is no friendship.

“We have spoken, and we know it will be a difficult game for both teams.”

“It will be a difficult task. We must really concentrate because in these games the small details are very important.”
