Barcelona vs Valencia: What Is Next For Lionel Messi?

2 views 12 March 2010

Barcelona will welcome Valencia at the Estadio Camp Nou this weekend in La Liga, and once again, they will not face their visitors without the presence of Lionel Messi.

Unless the unexpected hits Lionel Messi in the last minute, the Argentine is expected to feature for Barca on Sunday.

Lionel Messi scored Barca’s two last week when the Catalans drew 2-2 away to Almeria, and hence, his goal tally has now been extend to 19 goals this season in La Liga.

Barcelona were held to a goalless draw when they travelled to the Mestalla Stadium at the beginning of the season, with Lionel Messi appearing to be overshadowed in the match; but on this occasion, Messi is likely to steal the show.

Lionel Messi is still the assist leader with 9 in the standings, and with all these advantages on his side, he can look forward to nothing but enjoying the very best of games on Sunday against Valencia.
