Barcelona vs Osasuna: Lionel Messi Preview
42 views 23 March 2010
Lionel Messi will have the cameras on him for another time on Wednesday evening when he helps FC Barcelona overcome a determined Osasuna side at the Camp Nou in La Liga.
Barcelona are just behind Real Madrid in the standings, but they could keep the pressure on Los Blancos with a win tomorrow night at home.
Lionel Messi will be the main man in attack for Barca considering his unbeatable form in recent weeks, through which he scored 11 goals in his 5 last matches.
Messi is the top scorer of La Liga at the moment, and even if he doesn’t score a third hat-trick in a row for Barcelona in the league, a single goal might be enough to keep Gonzalo Higuain well behind him with quite a good margin.
Messi now has 25 goals in La Liga in only 24 appearances, averaging more than a goal per game. He has also been regarded as the best in the world by many coaches and players ahead of Cristiano Ronaldo, and he will have the chance to prove this fact again in his next league game at home to Osasuna.
