Lionel Messi’s 19th minute goal was enough for Barcelona to maintain their 6 points lead at the top of the La Liga table. Barcelona defeated Real Madrid’s away from home on Saturday night, while Real controversially beat Recreativo Huelva by a goal to nil.
The Catalans are enjoying straight wins since their disappointing 4-3 loss to Atletico Madrid, nevertheless, they still have a long way to go as seven matches remain in the league.
Therefore, one could think that the title is not decided yet… Out of the seven games left, four are considered as big ones. Sevilla, Valencia, Real Madrid, and Villareal are all threats to Pep’s expectations.
Eventually, it will take courage, self-confidence, and willingness to re-write history, the history they are making when they turn their toughest games into expeditions of goals…
