Arsenal vs Barcelona: Lionel Messi Should Be On Fire
The Barcelona star Lionel Messi did not play the full 90 minutes of his side’s 1-0 win over Real Mallorca at the weekend; hence, he should be in full form on Wednesday against Arsenal at the Emirates in the Champions League.
Messi scored two great goals in his last Champions League game when the European Kings faced Stuttgart at the Camp Nou, and his services could be indispensable tomorrow against the Londoners.
Arsenal coach Arsene Wenger however doesn’t seem worried about the fact that the FIFA Player of the Year will be leading his army against the Premier League giants; and he has revealed that there will be no special treatment for winger.
Sadly, the Lionel Messi vs Fabregas clash is unlikely to take place since the Spaniard is expected to miss the match following an injury; but nothing is confirmed yet.
It will be Lionel Messi’s first meeting against Arsenal in his career, subsequent to the fact that he did not feature in the 2006 Champions League final between Arsenal and FC Barcelona.
Messi has been playing at his full best lately, having a record of more than a goal per game this month.
It will be interesting to see how Leo will perform against the Gunners in England tomorrow night, but as at now, fans can continue with their predictions.
